Description

The Lucienne sconce is a horizontal bar of light rather than a single point, with four, six or eight LED apertures behind glass spreading the beam wide across a wall. Mounted at head height on a villa facade or a courtyard wall, it lays down a broad, even band of warm light instead of the narrow cone most compact sconces manage.

Construction is die-cast aluminium with glass lenses, hard enough to resist deformation and rated for high temperatures and general wear outdoors. The warm white 3000K LED has a colour rendering index above 80, so brick, render, timber and planting keep their real colour after dark rather than flattening into grey. Bright without being dazzling is the aim here, and the recessed apertures do most of that work.

An IP54 rating covers rain and splashing in normal exterior positions, and the aluminium body is rust-proofed for the long term. Three widths are available, from 3.5 inches for a compact accent up to 7.8 inches for a wider wash, in white or black. Each covers roughly 32 to 54 square feet. Hardwired at 85 to 265V; installation should be completed by a qualified electrician.
