Description

The Oo lamp pairs a rounded resin body with a white glass globe, so the colour of the base reads clearly while the light itself stays soft and diffused. It debuted as part of the First Hand collection at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in 2018, and the proportions still suit a console, a desk or a bedside table.

One size is offered, measuring 10.2 inches across and 16.5 inches tall (26 x 42 cm), which keeps it compact enough for a nightstand without disappearing on a wider surface. Four body colours are available, Green, Pink, Terra Cotta and White, and every one is fitted with the same white glass shade, so the body colour is what changes the character of the piece. The white glass shade is the same on every version.

Materials are resin, metal and iron with the white glass shade on top. The lamp takes a G9 bi-pin bulb, not included; a warm 2700-3000K G9 LED is recommended, since it brings out the depth of each body colour through the white glass. It is plug-in, with a 59.1-inch cord and an inline push-button switch, so no wiring is needed. It runs on AC 110-240V and is rated IP20 for indoor use only.
