Description

This recessed reading light folds flat against the wall when it is not in use. The head measures 2 inches across and the fixture stands 6 inches tall, so it takes almost no visible wall space beside a headboard or desk. Finishes include Matt Black, Chrome, Copper, Matt Black with Copper, and Nickel, in either a square or a cylinder head profile.

There is no separate wall switch to install. Pulling the head out turns the light on and pushing it back in turns it off, which keeps the nightstand clear. Output is around 2W at 3000K, roughly 160 lumens, aimed downward and forward so one person can read without lighting the whole bed. Triac dimmable versions are offered alongside the standard on/off warm white.

Installation needs planning before the wall is finished. The fixture drops into a prepared cavity with a 155 x 50 mm panel opening and 45 mm of depth, with fixing holes 120 mm apart top to bottom and 42 mm left to right. It is not compatible with standard US junction boxes and must be hardwired by a licensed electrician, so specify it during a build or renovation rather than retrofitting. Plan the cavity and the cable run before the plasterboard goes up.
