Description

The Colette fence light does the quiet, useful work of marking an edge after dark. Mounted on a step riser, a garden wall, a fence post or a walkway border, it casts a soft warm white 3000K pool downward so people can see where the ground changes without being dazzled. It is designed to be repeated along a run rather than used alone.

Power is entirely solar. A polycrystalline panel on top charges in six to eight hours of daylight and returns six to eight hours of light, with the battery holding up to twelve hours of capacity in reserve for shorter winter days. A light-controlled sensor switches the fixture on at dusk and off at dawn on its own, and a push button lets you override it when you want the light off for the evening.

The body combines plastic, ABS and PC, keeping it lightweight and impact-resistant, and it comes in black or white to suit dark timber fencing or pale render equally. The IP44 rating covers rain and splashing in semi-sheltered positions such as steps, low walls and porches. No wiring is needed, so installation is a matter of screws and sunlight.
