Description

A wavy black metal stem carries a pleated fabric shade, and the curve is pronounced enough that the lamp holds its own as an object when it is switched off. The origami-style pleating breaks the light into structured folds, which softens the output without flattening it. It suits a nightstand, a desk or the table beside a reading chair, in eclectic vintage rooms as readily as modern ones.

There is one size, 17 inches across by 23.6 inches tall (43 x 60 cm). At that height it sits comfortably on surfaces between 24 and 30 inches high, and the 17-inch shade diameter still leaves usable room on a standard nightstand. The stem is black in every version; the shade is offered in Beige, White, Dark Green or Black, and plug types cover US, UK, AU and EU.

It takes an E14 candelabra bulb, not included, and a warm LED or Edison filament bulb around 2700K suits the pleating best.
